What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

I think that my media product could be distributed by IPC Media. This is because IPC Media is a particularly media institution in the UK, because they already distribute media products that relate to my magazine such as NME. Also they publish other magazines of the same type and genre as mine and it is aimed at the same age and social group as my magazine. However these are other media that would be linked to IPC media with magazines these could be the internet, for example, NME have their own music website where people can buy the magazine and find previous editions and other information they need.

However in the TV advert; such as magazine can be advertised in the TV as many ways which makes the marketing and producing more sales.
For example; IPC Advertising offers people access to IPC Media's unparalleled range of print and online brands.  Their leading magazine portfolio reaches 27million UK adults and their online brands collectively reach 20 million users. So whether people are looking to engage with magazine, up market or mass market magazines; or to target a specific brand or interest, tap into our authority, expertise and unrivalled audience insight. And they provide magazines with unique, creative and innovative advertising solutions to meet all their communication needs.

Video Analysis- Music Video Conventions

Today while i was in the lesson I have done a little research about the song i want to use and how the  music conventions are this mean thst the characteristic movies which are figures and conventions for music videos. However I have researched three or four different music video that into so, as an individual  I can use these music video that I have research on to my benefit when producing my music video. On top of this it will assist in my analysis of existing music videos.  Although I did talk about these points as an individual to assist myself as well.
The genres of music have their own music video style and certain things such as setting, clothing and lighting are recognised symbols I expect to see and It is obvious that music videos are used promotional cloth consequently it is frequently a command for their to be close ups of these artists to make it clear who they are and encourage them.
As some of the artists expand their own star icon. However there are also probable to be a proposition of voyeurism created in the video.

Music
  • The music  video will constantly create employ of the rhythm of the track to force the expurgation
  • This  might highlight fussy sounds from the track by fore fronting confident tools
Lyrics
  • As noticeable as it might sound it is significant to produce a connection between the lyrics and the visuals, with the visuals exemplifying, magnifying the lyrics.
  • As they assist to found a all-purpose  undergoing or frame of mind or a common sense of theme substance
  • The key lines may play a part in the visuals but rarely will you get a literal response
Genre
  • Some pieces of music are difficult to categorise and therefore the video needs to emphasise its distinctive features, being reflected in the mise-en-scene
  • certain themes will be appropriate in certain genres which will also be reiterated in camera and editing styles
Camera Work
  • this includes how the camera is used also  how it is sequenced will impact upon its meaning
  • this my include the camera angles, movement and distance done well will give it the lively feel
Editing
  • It is significant that you motion picture to edit-the most common editing styles being fast cut montage, which give confidences frequent sightings
  • narrative is often bitty
  • digital effects such as straitening and lucidity can often be used to good effect
  • This may also include sluggish- rate editing will have gentle changes which assist to found the frame of mind.

Storyboard for my music video

Although I have drawing the storyboard and I have make notes how am I going to take an images of each individual scene so that I can create and Animatic of shots to help me build the music video I  making my final product.Although my media Studies creative project I propose to produce a music video for a film Future History.

I have decided upon the Music video genre because as a production individual I feel it is an exciting and appealing genre. However the elements involved in a music movie are, the human voice, sound effects, music and mystery. In pre-production I will be thinking of ways to create these elements with a minimal budget and small production players. Although I wish to make a Music video a uneven period of around two or three minutes.

If it is possible in editing, I propose to make the music video have an exact period of or two or 3mins 20 or 30secs. In addition to I think this would be a good way to bind into the mystery of the film because many music films that involve mystery have hidden clues within the film.

The storyline behind my music video is, one teenage who’s trying to have an ordinary life this means that tying to have an ordinary life is being anything is so much fun and people don’t have to be a certain way to impress other people. If they like someone for being who they are then that’s grant. But if they don’t then that’s great too, their loss...should never be an afraid to be who they are ...express their self proudly and don’t take any criticism from on one.

Furthermore Although I am doing a music video the main story and plan does not have to be described totally in the whole music film clip and I can portray the main themes of the m music film using text narration which will be dealt with in post production editing.

The audience I am appealing to be is 15+ cinema audiences. Although I think my music film will appeal to teenagers above the age of fifteen because it involves the music, mystery and characters close to their age which they can relate to. I also feel that my most prominent audience will be girls of this age and above, my reason for thinking this is that most male girls of 15-25 enjoy mystery and sad stories more than males of the same age.

My music video could be similar with other music videos such as the anything but ordinary album by Avril lavigne, unwritten album by Natasha bedingfield, blah blah blah album by Kesha. I feel these music videos are easily similar to my idea as they all hold the same main themes of adventure mystery. However my main difference is from these music videos and it will be that I will not have exciting railway wagon pursue but I will replace these type of pursues with on foot exciting chases using a normal screen.

My necessitate an extremely small production players of around three people which I already have. I have decided on the roles of responsibility as thus; Mina– Technical me because I am an individual who doing my thing, although I will the editing and the director of Cinematography, also I will be the  Producer, Co – Director, even the props Manager. In terms of acting I aim to do most of the acting my selves to eliminate dependency on other people which in event of absence could slow down production.

The equipment I require will be a camera work and editing suite. It was my own production and most of this equipments betweenme so Iwill need this provided for myself to finish the camera work and editing. Therefore the ethical issues I may come across in this film may be the issue of teenagers doing stunts and having relationship problem.

Today before starting to film my music video, I had to create a storyboard so my music video would be original and make certain my music video has all the essential shots that I want to use and I require for the music video to be an accomplishment. I also decided to draw my storyboard and give a small Annotation to what the shots are doing and what type of shot Ii have used. Creating the storyboard gave me a better idea of what I want my music video to look like.

Final Storyboard

Today I have decided to draw my final storyboard images for each scene because wanted to know where exactly each scene should go.  Although this storyboard is important for me to produce because it gives me a selection of each point in my music video. Therefore my final storyboard comprises a few lists of shots numbers and shot durations, also Information about the shots and characters in the scene.

My storyboard is made up with 27 shots  but some of the shots are similar so I  have decided to draw the main shots that I wanted in my music video, but as I am making my music video I will include these other shots I have mentioned to make it look better by using more shots in between those 15 shots below, so in order to make my music video even improved.

So here is my storyboard-

For example the Article avril lavine http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yKOgpaf9sOA like to use an informal town setting shown in her video leave before the lights come on: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dg_7TL5PAzA article Natasha Bedingfield also has a similar video filmed in a town centre, so this makes the music video look magnetizing.
This story board has been improved slightly and I have added more details which need to be added.  However I haven't followed these music vidoes I have looked at, so I decided to make unique style in my music video.

Who would be the audience for your media product?

The main audience for my media product would be young people who are interested Rock/Pop music. These who use  different colour and background e.g. brighter foreground with black and grey.

for example

My music magazine would be targeted at a specific age group and at people who a assured type of music and artists. These characteristic would be include.
Þ     A teenager or young adults
Þ     Young people who listen to Rock/Pop music
Þ     Young people who listen to Rock and pop music through different means, for example; the internet, IPod, Phone, Mp3, Radio, CD’s and  Live shows
Þ     Young people that may regularly watch music channels such as ,Scuzz,Lava,NME,WTF
Þ     They also shop at stories which sells clothes that are  from Rock or Pip culture
Typical readers
Although my main audience would be teenagers and young people. This may be my audience because the actors on my cover are of that age group

Rough Sketches and Trials

After coming up with the name for my magazine, I went on to draw some rough sketches of possible layout ideas for the front cover of “Future History”

My target group and audience is in the age range 15-25, this means that I fit the criteria, and because of this it allowed me to decide and have a close into what my target group and audience would want.  Therefore, I planed quite a few different research which allowed for my target group and audience to state what they wanted as well as point to what they didn’t or did like in my own project and real media products. During my research it allowed me to recognize the needs of my precise target group and audience, as the success of the media product provided me with a sign as to whether the target group and audience would liked it, and whether or not it met their needs. Although I tried to make as many techniques for right of entering audience feedback before I had finished each of my products so that if my target group and audience did not like something I would be able to make any changes needed.

For example, during the construction steps of my magazine cover I planed research which my target group and audience could decide which font colouring and style them favoured and without asking them a feedback during the course. Using the Blog I have had the accessibility of teachers to remark on my work, this means that to discuss aspects if my target group and audience did like it or not; although other students providing me with feedback was of great advantage to me, this means that for them fitting my target group and audience range it meant that their needs and wants were completely suited to the criteria of my media products. The use of the remarks part of the blog was very helpful to me than the use of research as it meant that the audience wasn’t maximum value to a mark box answer, as the remark box allowed for the accessibility to state their view and ideas.

From this I decided that the grey version looked better than the black. This is because although the black was quite vivid and electric, the grey version looked more like an actual cable and would fit in with my genre, rock/indie a lot better. As a result of this, I also decided that the colour scheme for my music magazine should be black, white and grey.I then made a quick rough front cover on Photodhop using photos from the internet to give me an idea of the sort of thing my magazine could look like in terms of layout:-

Creating this rough front cover made me realise that for my actual front cover of Future History cable I would also like to use a long shot photo of a band, but obviously one that I have taken myself.  but would layer more headlines over the top for the real thing. Using these ideas I came up with this plan for my front cover.
I then tried creating my masthead on photoshop, using the idea I had from my mind map and some of my sketches to help. I tried using an white colour and a dark grey colour for this as shown below :-

The Final Design OF My Website

Before designing my wbeiste I have designed 1 or 2 draft of website that I wanted to look the difference between the websites that I have used. As the first website I have used to create a wix.com and the second draft that I have designed I have used Dreamweaver and the final design of my website I have decided to use a wix.com because I found it easy to use and its lot  more interested to design a music website.

I have developed the website even further by adding the real video and the poster to the website. I’ve stuck with my idea of having more than one post and I think it works and does not look too overcrowded. The name of the single and the album are present in this table so that the user can easily see what the single the video is for and what the album is called so that they can buy it.
Furthermore I have added a login aspect do that the user can become a member of the website and can therefore access more of the website than someone who is not a member.  Although I added links to the bands other websites so that the user could add them on Facebook and MySpace and view their own official website

Here is my final website

I really liked this final website as it looks very professional and like a website a band would actually have. I like the background and the way the buttons and the title stand out from the background. I also like how the buttons change colour and their are links to the bands other official web pages.
Click here for a working link to the website.

http://www.wix.com/iskuroon/future-history#!

My first rough Sketches and Trials website;

The first website I have created in Wix.com was this website below, I have designed this style first because I was practising how it is going to be to design website in Wix.com as I have never design website in wix.com but when I design my first website in wix.com I have realised that I can design another style which will suite my story and the pop genre..

Although the images I have used the first design wasn’t my own images it was images I was testing how it’s going to be look like when I design my own website.  http://www.wix.com/iskuroon/first-draft

Annotating Website’s

Introsuction
I thought it would be a good idea to analyse the bands own official website to see what kind of features we could add to our website.

Although this Part I have been asked to do a research about music websites which I have to design my won website when I finish annotated my research. However the websites that I have chosen to annotate is

http://www.natashabedingfield.com/gb/frontpage?cmdr=ip2country/detected.
Although the first website I have chosen is got lot of images instead of text and the second website has got lot of text instead of images.

Furthermore the media intention was to create and design a cover or website which will be meant at a confident audience for designing my own website or creating my own cover. Also for me to do this I have to carry out a selection of different research which will be included in surveys and analyzing different existing media products.

I looked at different types of covers then I research for starting looked at the gatherings of each of those types. For example album covers would be very high type illumination and would generally have younger attractive people declining music, with a great effort straightening out them.this websites that i have annotated is the main websites that i have aim and want to design the some way as they look.

The website is very naive with the same image being used as the background on each page and on 2 of the links on the side of the homepage. The same naive text is used for all of the page links and the title at the top of the page and a similar font is used on the rest of the text as the main text would be hard to read a lot of text in.
So I will show my findings to the audience and try to use some of these conventions and features on my Future History website

1th websites

I decided to look at website from different genres so that I could get an idea of what goes on to a website. As of looking at this different website I can see that they have a few things in familiar. They all have the video for the newest single on the homepage; they have obvious links to different pages including outside links to their different official websites such as Facebook, MySpace and Twitter. They all use their band font for the title of the website so that the user can become familiar with the brand of the band. They all have new on the front page so that fans can feel close to the band by finding out what is happening with them. On most of them there is an image of the band at the top allowing the audience to become common with the band. All of the websites are fairly light and gold which shows a new crazes which I will most possibly use in my own website.
2th website

although this websites are fairly light  the difference in layout, choice of fonts and pictures creates a completely different feeling to the website for example the Avril Lavigne website is quite light and dark pink  but it looks extremely feminine because of the choice of pictures and layout where as the website for Projectile for my favoured looks fairly manly because of be short of images and the overcrowded layout. On 3 of the websites the background is quite graphic which I think is a nice aspect as it makes the website more interesting to the use or even visited.

3th website
One of the website I knew I wanted to analyse was Kesha's as I believe that she has a very alike sound to Future History. From looking at the website I can see that it is extremely original and eccentric which shows how Kesha herself and her music are described. All of the links are on a massive two of a kind of relates to the artist album. The associates are in pale and so stand out from the profound gold background.

in the homepage she has the video of her newest single which all the other arital's website has got it. but it just like many other band websites do and so this is a feature I will want to put in to my website. At the highest of the page is an image of the artist this allows the audiences and the fans to become common with the artist and recognize her. The major part of information down the centre is news and her blog. By having this aspect it allows the user to feel closer to the artist.

The different between the music websites that I have research on. However those websites are from different magazines also they have different style I would use the fist cover and the third one to look similar in my own cover magazine. However I would also use different language that suites my cover magazine and colour too.

I also look at some other music websites by looking at the design of the website I thought it would be best if I looked at Ashley Tisdale website as well as other own sites such as Ashlee Simpson and Katy Perry, lady gaga.
This music websites I found a huge difference in all four websites because the Ashley Tisdale one is very strange with different colour background. Also the lady gaga website is quite different two from other websites because it used black background all the pages and all her pictures where in black and white, this contrasted greatly with Katy Perry who had a dark pink with black background and it was more girly and influential and different.
Overall all the websites I looked at looks interesting and well designed and all of them look high-quality which opens their music up to a bigger target audience.

Inspirational music video

This music video is by http://youtu.be/yyK8GLWWElk it is stop animation which is the same process I am using to make my music video. The video includes comic music video, the use of the he or she face is an example of emotional, and how a music video should have many shots of the artist or band. In this case, the artist is shown in nearly every shot. The music video is very creative and playful so it could appeal to a range of audiences (perhaps more young adult audiences), similarly to how I want my music video to too
This is an intertextual reference to how I will use stop animation in my own music video. It can create a lot of movement and variations of speed and movement can help keep the audience interested. Furthermore, by having different fun and entertaining shots increases the focus of the audience. For example, the audience would have more attention with the shots used and the feeling around in a bright room with ladies to the music.

Overall evaluation

In the whole project I think that my three media products are effective and work together very well, although the feedback I received from my primary and secondary target audience showed that my products petition to my target audience and they would watch over and over as it contains that they would want to end watching it.
My primary and secondary audience feedback at the end of my AS media project showed that I didn’t not do enough research on magazine and my target audience plan. So in A2 media project I make sure that I research the products and the target audience for more and tried to focus on the main thing my target audience want and going out questionnaire my research which was very important and effective as it made an impact on my final product; this means that it helped me to include every stage that my primary and secondary target audience wanted and need.
If I would do this project again I would repeat this project and I would do the same plan but having lot of time to do research as this is very important. Although I would change the main images and style to something of the better quality. This means that I would change the main story to another story within the magazine cover so the magazine cover will stand out more attract.

What have you learnt about technologies from the process of construction this product?

The technologies I used in the process of constructing my media product were:
During my media product I have learnt many new techniques and methods that I didn’t know before. This means that, when I first began the course I was really familiar with some of the technologies consisting of the processing applications used. Although I have learnt how to use Photoshop very efficiently and have put it to use outside of school time. The most useful tool I have learnt about in Photoshop would be the replica instrument; this can be used to fill spaces with the exact same colour as the picture. However the other technology that I have come cross was prezi, animate and scribe which have helped me along the course; before I had heard nothing of these sites and agendas.
I have now learnt how to use these to great effect and will continue to use them where I find pertinent. Scribed has been massively successful in my use, as it has enabled me to post an article on my blog without manifold posts, it makes everything look clear and easier to read.
To be honest I never used a Blog before so I started of not knowing what to do with it first so what  I did was at the beginning I write all my work into Microsoft work first then I realised I have to upload my blog. So afterward I developed so many blog skills in since starting the production of a music magazine. For example: I have learnt how to upload Mp3 files and Images. Having become familiar with using a blog I have been able to work more easily and quickly.

I have also made my Wix website live so people around the world can  view it,  this means that I first decided to use Dreamwave but the choice of styles and layouts were limited and it became quite hard to use, so I decided to use Wix as it has much more choice of layouts and Ihad more freedom to choice whatever style I want my website to be.

Evaluation 1

1 - In what way does your media product use, develop or challenge froms and conventions of real media products?
My media product basically pursues and sticks to the conventions of a typical music video and also producing a music website that links in with the music video, as well as a cover magazine. My thoughts for the music video, was to challenge the characteristic conventions of a media product owing to the controversial theme substance debated. Furthermore I was influenced and stimulated by music videos that I observed which used a range of innovative thoughts and interesting shots and sights.
The songs from a comparable genre to mine regularly have music videos which are very intelligent and they are on the end of the range of appear very gloomy and very packed with productive imagination.
For example, I wanted to make sure that my music video was not unsurprising by counting an unreal which would make my music video a more interesting experience in general. Although the audience I am aspiring at are fascinated by extraordinary music videos and theme substances, which is the reason why I tried it.
‘Anything but ordinary’ is packed with a less colourful and imagination. Although I pursued this means that I have used mise en scene in my music video by using light to express meaning and put in an in general ambience.  This also includes the use of colour by Daft of Avril is used to show that she’s anything but ordinary and everything is different , like normal for her life.

2 -How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?

I feel that the mixture of my media products is extremely effectual. This means that from the time when the music video is purposeful on a discontented message, and so that will most possibly tempt to an exacting target audience who aren’t disturbed with being of necessity keep amused. Payable to this, furthermore I have made sure that to stay the website simple and easy; this means that connoting the site for adult individuals. Because my music video is extremely optical, as I wanted to reproduce that in the website by inspecting attractive images.

During my mission I have used a blog to post my all resultant and most important research. As this help me produce my music video. Although the research that I have put together on this blog has certified to come across some of the research I have done was something that I was inspired by the style and the colours that use it efficiently in my own music video. This  also help me to estimate the accurate my target audience in command to know what types of my music videos petition to them so that I can intend to supply to individuals wants. In additional I have seen new and interesting camera angles and shot idea. I have also tried to keep my blog extremely easy and in direct to fasten in with the subject of the music video.

As soon as I make a decision that I was going to have a music video in excitement colours, even though I consideration that having the two resultant products and (the cover magazine) in mostly in darks of grey and black was suitable. Although having thought that, I have realise my target audience is paying attention to splattered of colour and style, so I added colour to my front cover magazine and chose image, than a grey background with black text make noticeable on it. However I have chose to do these because after researching individual pop singers of a similar genre, I noticed that all of them are trailed a tiny indicate of blush. I used logomaker and Paint also Photoshop to prepare for publication my images. This means that both of these programs are extremely simple to use and so I was talented to obtain the most excellent absent of them and absent of my representations.

Following my cover magazine, I integrated the engagement of the stamp album would be released; outlets where it could be bought, and a small image of the cover magazine’s front cover which used the top of that a small image. Although the future client would be talented to with no trouble recognise the website in an online and also to familiarise my product with them. This means that all the information that I was included on my comer magazine advert were the indispensables, in direct to flash nosiness out of uncertainty. Furthermore the magazine cover and the website are easily related to one another, because they both have extremely simple fonts and small amounts of colour, also, they both feature the same young woman.

3 - What have you learned from your audinece feedback?

The thing I have learned from my target audience feedback, is that the mainly significant thing to believe, this means that before trying to produce my own media products and previous to commencement the structure of my media products, I also did a questionnaires that when answered would assist me better to understand who my target audience is, and what they want from my media products, I had a tough idea of my point view wanted is to accomplish my media product, this also means that I needed to make clear that others wanted the some too. But when I got the result back I have realised that I learned my target audience feedback and the enhanced on my initial idea.

After showing the some target audience my finished products, I feel I have talented most of their unique needs and even enhanced on them. Furthermore, there are some aspects I would change, this means that I may I have to include more shots in my music video to again an extra interest, but I have learned this from my target audience feedback, and it’s not just my own idea. Although my audience feedback has shown me that, overall, I’ve chosen a music video that meets most needs and wants.

however my A2 media coursework I produced a music video of the romance gender. However my planned target audience was both male and female in the 15 to 25 age.  Also I used different ways to see what my audience wants from beginning to end of my finished product. Although the first step I took was in receiving in concert feedback from my audience which was showing it to people, male and female, contained by my target audience age.
Therefore what I have learned from my audience feedback is that the product has done good quality then I expected it would. As few people said that they won’t change anything about it and liked what I had already done. However In my opinion in think I achieved more feedback then I expected from my target audience and I am very satisfied with it and my product.

My primary audience feedback thought was built-in using a questionnaire which can be appearing on my blog. However I thought that a more current use of technology and more pertinent way of gathering feedback from my primary target audience would be the cloth on facebook and get feedback that way too.

4 - How did you use media technologies in construction and research, planing and evaluation stages?

At the beginning of my media project, I had to do in profundity research to make sure that I made products that would fit in with today's existing products. As I used the stage YouTube to find existing music videos, to analyse and look at for motivation. I also used the internet to do research into existing magzine cover.

My ideas of planning the stage were using online blogs. Furthermore I used the popular blogging service as it allowed me to share images and video. At the planning stage I used Google. As the service is a conference of the standard schedule and the internet to give a service that is reachable from hundreds of tools and PCs. Although this helped me to hang about prepared at the planning stage when I planned and filming schedule to make sure that everything is understandable.
At the feedback stage I tried to get people’s opinions from social networking websites. I also uploaded the first cut of my product to YouTube and then posted a link on the social networking website Facebook where my friends were able to leave comments. Although I posted a link to the video on micro-blogging website where people left me comments with their opinion about what they thing about my music video. On the whole new media technologies helped me to produce expert pieces at a part of the price and the time that it would have if not taken. However the whole thing from using images when designing my magzine cover to allocating media on Facebook helped me to be well-organized.
The equipment I needed for filming was; a camcorder, a camera. I took my video recording and then using an movie maker and  I edited the video recording and put the audio path with it to produce a music video. Below I have shown how I used the stages of my music video.

Wednesday, 13 April 2011

Look back at your preliminary task, what do you feel have you learnt in the progression from it to the full product?

Before starting the whole media product about preliminary task, I feel I have learnt many things since I started at the preliminary task up until now, I feel I established a lot of originality within my media product by using original images, editing them to how I like them, also the layout of my magazine in my own way to make it suit my personal target group and audience, the exact colour of the fonts, and I feel they portrayed my target group and audience to a good average.
Therefore the most of my ideas were unique, although I did get some inspiration off of NME,Q, Kerrang magazine, as I wanted my magazine to be quite similar to this type of magazine, although everything I wrote in my media product were all my own words, and again all images were mine too, so all stuff was unique.
Although when it came to the technology part, at the begin I had a bit of difficulty to be honest, but as the time went on I found myself getting better and better until I was able to use all programmers quite easily. However I learnt more about how to use Photoshop because it was software which I never used, and I needed to get used to using the tools from the school magazine task. It was difficult to use at first but I became familiar with the features of the software and I was able to use them easily. Also my knowledge of Photoshop increased slightly with the use of tools, I learnt how to use the clone stamp tool to manipulate certain colours in my photos so they look clean cut and have a professional look. I also learnt how to download different type of fonts to use them for my pages.
The benefit of being able to download different fonts is so that I wasn’t incomplete of the style of text I wanted to use for my magazine; therefore I would be able to find a manly text that would suit my magazine the best. I downloaded a barcode text because it made it easier to create a barcode for the front cover of my magazine.
In general my understanding of Photoshop has improved because from the start I never knew how to use Photoshop at all but now I can use it independently. Over all I have learnt many since the beginning of this project, and it has helped me a lot.

How did your attract and address your audience?

I wanted to key ingredient s into my music video that would help the target audience of 15 to 25 year old recognize with it. Although the most important consideration is the feedback from my audience as they are the target audience.
Therefore I have addressed my audience by using exacting actors which would appeals to the audience of the Music video genre. For example I have hand draw the main actors in the music video and there was a boy which would attract the female’s audience which part is the part of my target audience. I have also used a female earring dress which would attract the mails audience which I am targeting.

How does your media product represent particular social groups?

My media product represent particularly social groups these are a variety of social groups, because my media product has an average age variety from around 15-25, there are social groups such as college students and school students.
I think my media product magazine represents these types of people. This means that my magazine have used a suitable colours and images which I have I planned first  before using then and in a way that they looked expert then edited them to make them look more sensible.
My magazine images also have good links as I used mostly that age ranged models in my images so my social groups are able to look at these images and relate them to their selves, I thought this would also relate to my readers as it is of "option Rock/Pop" genre, so they will be interested in the tools that are shown so will make them want to read my magazine even more.
This is a constructive representation as there is not anything about unconstructive going on in my magazine; this also shows what kind of genre I am aspiring for throughout my magazine.
Many people could say there is a lot of difference between how my magazine represents this form of option rock/pop, and how other magazines such as NME and Kerrang will represent this, compared to these magazines mine is quite subtle in a way that theirs are very serious on the rock/pop sight and have more dark colours and are more strong which is a good thing as they be a magnet for the readers this way, but I did not do this in my magazine.

Copyright Permission letter

Basically the copyright rules are set-up to promote the creation of new things and ideas. This means that Copywrite is extremely important nowadays as a lot of people do similar things this also means that Copyright is needed so people don't steal other peoples work. Although if the rules didn't exist then some people might not be willing to share their ideas and we would have less new originalities. However I make sure that before I even began to start planning my music video and all my project tasks with it, I obtain permission from the music company that produces Avril Lavigne that is was well to use their Anything But Ordinary song. In order to do this I decided to write a letter explaining my circumstances and send it off to the company's E-mail. Below is the letter asking for permission

But unfortunately I still didn’t get any reply, but I also asked permission to another songs just in case if I did get any permission to my first song but it was still the same as I didn’t get any reply. So what I did was I told my teacher about what happened and  she said I don’t think there’s nothing wrong if I use it or not because it’s not like I am putting their song into big websites or anything just using as my project.

Video Feedback

On Tuesday, what I did was to show my music video to the main target group and  get feedback on what I have done well and what I need to improve. Therefore I generally got feedback although I have still not finished the real music video. I have a great combine of narrative and presentation shots but I still need to work on the act of texting every part of the video to the music.  Even though there was one person who has made a commented on my theme of my music video and about the characters I used. I decided to focus the video on companionship matters rather than association matters which is fairly regularly establish in videos of comparable genre as seen in the screen shots below.

Taylor Swift - Tim McGraw

Avril Lavigne - Girlfriend

Enrique Iglesias - Heartbeat ft. Nicole Scherzinger

Rihanna - What's My Name? ft. Drake
Rihanna - Unfaithful

The Last Song - "When I Look At You" by Miley Cyrus
