mood Board

Today when I was In the lesson I Have though of doing mood board for my magazine mood board to help me what can shot's or images I would be using for the music video product. So I though of doing  2 different mood boards which I mad to try and detain what emotion I wanted to use in the video to represent. I also wanted to make a link between fantasy and reality with an element of confusion. I wanted to make my music video have a bend at the end. However this mood boards show the locations I want to film at and inspiration I have got from other music videos and films to help me to develop my story line further.  Although there is a reoccurring theme of clowns throughout the mood board as this is how I want one of the main characters to be dressed as a rock star is a major part in out final idea.

For the duration of the research and planning process I looked into the different sorts of music magazines and what genres they are connected to. I decided that I was going to create a magazine on my music tastes so that I would have a better understanding of my audience.

The magazine that I felt I would like to purchase were magazines such as: NME, etc…  So I decided to have a similar magazine to these. Following the clear conventions of music magazines, I have made many editorial decisions, such as the style of attend to of my themes, the colour theme, and the layout etc… The colours are neutral to encourage each gender to buy the magazine; this will make the audience also the reader knows that it is concentrating at one exact gender. I used straight style of attend to which would reason the reader to undergo as though they are involved in the magazine contents. By putting all of these conventions together I have created a magazine which I could be proud of.
My Mood board represents the genre of Pop/rock. I used bright colours on my mood board as there is an iconology that pop is associated with bright and colourful colours. This is the first thing I think on when I think of Pop, bright Colours. The light, bold and bubbly colours represent the music of pop. I added a photo of mine and some of the images that I research on.  Although I have used Michael Jackson image because he is seen as the King of Pop music. With his image on my mood board it will be clear to the audience of the genre of Pop.  Also the image of Avril Lavigne is used as she is the most recent artist who sings the pop genre and is very successful.
Her video “anything but ordinary” is strong in the representation of the Pop genre due to the colorful and set.Penetrated “Pop Genre” into the Google search engine and found the image of pop/Rock this means that the pop genre logo and the symbol of the colour symbolizes the love for the genre of pop, which in fact stands for well-liked, which I bracket together with music that is well loved, therefore my choice for the using those image in my mood board as well as it representing the genre pop.I also included rainbow background with guiltier piece which makes stand out the pop genre it’s also because the greater part of the Pop fraction occupation are showed in colorful, which I think represent as part of the pop genre, owing to the image being colorful, which could be linked to a younger audience, This I thought reflected the thought that Pop is targeted at younger audiences owing to the fun, light, and colorful images which are associated with the genre.
